Weather, Postponement and Event Change Policy

MMGDT may include outdoor, tented, or multi-area activities. This policy explains how weather, safety, and operational changes will be handled.
1. Monitoring and safety
- Organizers may monitor forecasts, site conditions, emergency guidance, transportation, and venue readiness before and during the event.
- Participants must follow lawful safety instructions, evacuation directions, and restricted-area notices.
2. Delays and temporary suspension
- Matches or activities may be delayed, paused, shortened, moved, or resequenced because of severe weather, heat, lightning, wind, smoke, power loss, unsafe ground conditions, or other hazards.
3. Relocation or postponement
- When reasonably possible, activities may continue in tents, buildings, alternate areas, or on a revised schedule.
- A postponed registration will ordinarily transfer to the rescheduled event unless another remedy is announced.
4. Cancellation
- Cancellation decisions are made by authorized tournament management with safety and operational feasibility as the priority.
- Refund treatment follows the Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
5. Communications
- Updates may be sent through mmgdt.com, email, My Tournament Profile, sitewide messages, social media, or on-site announcements.
- Participants are responsible for keeping contact information current and checking official updates before travelling.
6. Personal preparation and expenses
- Participants should prepare for changing conditions, bring suitable clothing, and protect personal property.
- MMGDT is not responsible for personal travel, lodging, food, or other third-party costs caused by weather or schedule changes unless required by law.
