Annual Marcus Mosiah Garvey Domino Tournament

Photo and Media Consent

Version 2026.1 • Effective July 21, 2026

This document separates operational identification uses from optional public and promotional uses of photographs, video, names, interviews, and other media.

1. Operational identification

  • A registration photo may be used internally for account verification, badges, QR passes, check-in, security, and tournament administration. These operational uses are connected to participation and are not the same as promotional consent.

2. Optional public consent

  • When a participant selects public photo/media consent, MMGDT may display their name, team or club, registration photo, tournament-day photo, video, interview, or testimonial on the Participant Image Wall, mmgdt.com, Camp Wakanda Forever websites, social media, event displays, and future tournament promotion.
  • Public consent is optional, is not preselected, and is not required to participate.

3. Editing and context

  • Media may be cropped, resized, captioned, combined, or edited for clarity and layout, but should not be used in a misleading or degrading manner.

4. Duration and withdrawal

  • Consent remains active until withdrawn or replaced by a later choice.
  • Participants may change public media permission in My Tournament Profile or contact info@wakanda.ca.
  • Withdrawal applies to future use. MMGDT will make reasonable efforts to remove controlled online content, but cannot guarantee recall of printed materials, archived copies, third-party shares, or content already lawfully distributed.

5. No payment

  • Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, participants will not receive payment for authorized tournament media use.
